Dublin 10U and 12U win Delta Section Softball Championships
Dublin Little League Softball, in only their second season since restarting the program, has not only won one, but has won TWO Section Championships in the Little League AllStar Softball tournament.
The 10U team team played three games in 2 days with a clean sweep of the Delta Section AllStar tournament. They defeated District 53 (American Canyon) 18-1, and then beat the District 4 team (Walnut Creek) team twice, winning 16-3 and 11-4. They move onto the NorCal Championships in Chico on July 14.
Similarly, the 12U team also played three games in 2 days and swept their Delta Section bracket. They defeated District 12 (Almaden) 18-5, District 4 (East County) 15-5, and then again defeated District 12 (Almaden) 13-7. They will now move onto the Norcal Championships in Martinez on July 16.
Congratulations to both teams for a great accomplishment and we wish them the best as they move on representing District 57.
